Food hygiene ratings by area

Every food business in the UK is inspected and rated by its local council. Choose a council to see how the places in that area score, the top-rated, the worst-rated, and what has just been inspected.

363 councils publish food hygiene ratings. Most of the UK uses the Food Hygiene Rating Scheme, which scores a business from 0 to 5. Scotland runs its own scheme, which records a pass or an improvement requirement rather than a score, how ratings work explains the difference.
